I wonder if they forgot to transfer the spring isolators? That could explain at least part of it.

Or seated the spring the wrong way on the control arm?

Did they ship you the correct springs?

they shipped the right springs, i just got back from my other mechanic and he said there is definetly something wrong with it. The back sits up about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the tire, and the front is basically sitting on the tire, i just find it hard to believe that they installed them incorrectly because they're a good shop. but after looking at other cars there has't to be something wrong with them.

did you do all 4 springs? if so is it possible that they installed the rear springs in the front?

did you look at the springs themselves......maybe they tried to cheat you and kept your springs and cut your stock ones.

I think the '01 is the same (suspension wise) as my '04. I don't think untrained monkeys could reverse the springs. In fact, the fronts would not seat on the rear control arms. They would shift constantly. Then again, the spring isolators would not explain all of it, so I guess that could be it. The rears are shorter than the fronts, so... have them checked.
