I'm talking to a dealership, "negotiating" for a Mach 1. It's a 2004, competition orange, with 6700 miles on it, in perfect condition. We just talked, and they've come down from 24k to $22,999.

It's near where my folks live so I'd have them pick it up, and I'd either fly down on vacation and drive it back up to North Dakota, or just leave it there till I get out in May/June.

Any Mach owners out there care to chime in on this? Anyone have any idea how good a deal this is? The color is perfect, one of my three top choices...

KBB says suggested retail is 26k so id say its a good deal.

For an 04, 22,9 is a steal, especially with those miles, and that color is sick as well. I'd honestly go for it, thats just me. Do you know if any mods are done to it? While technically it reduces car value, it makes it more valueable for what you want... I got my mach with most of the mods in it allready, mine was 03 with 27k for $21,5. With about $3k in parts :-p

No mods, she's bone stock, which is how I want it. That way I know STEP BY STEP what is going into my ride.

I'm actually thinking about buying it AND keeping the GT....hmmmm....

Either way, at least I can keep my Diablo tuner, it'll work on the Mach.

If you can sell your car privately, theres an 03 cobra for i think 20.9 on svtperformance. If you are looking at that price range you should just get a cobra.

how will your tuner work is they sell them for 99-01 cobras and machs then they have a seperate one for gt's?

According to my documentation the Diablo Tuner I have will work for late model GTs and Machs, there is a seperate one for Cobras. Could be wrong, but...that's what it says.
