I recently change my rear end to a 3.55 gear ratio. Since the swap the cruise control now overresponds causing the car to surge. Because of the gear swap the small change in the pedal position has more impact on the cars speed. When cruising at 75, the pedal is always moving trying to achieve the desired speed. Does anyone know if the response of the cruise control is adjustable?



Other than the cruise control issue I highly recommend the 3.55 swap. It really woke up my mustang and it is still not wound up at cruising speeds. I believe that a taller gear would render first gear unusable.
