Default How should I treat my new stan

Okay i just got a 2004 mustang and i was wondering if i should baby it for a while or punch the s**t out of so it wil get used to it? What do u think?

drive it like you stole it..*L*
I would drive normal for a few 100 change the oil around 100-500 miles..reg oil..then change it @ 2k them 3500 with synth. oil..


I change mine like so

100
1000
2000
3500
5000
8000
so on

this is what i'd do. i'd wait till about 1K before you rip into her at 4K+</P>

thanks im at like 3600 miles now but when i first got her i was hittin it likei hadnt had sex in foreverso i was just wondering what miles i "should" wait for but too late now

Default How should I treat my new stan

The best way to break in a motor these days is to actually drive the car. Not beat the crap out of it. Run the car in different gears at the same speed. Run it up to 100 slow back down. Stuff like that. The motor needs to see all sorts of rpm changes and held rpms to break in and not wear to a certin style.
