Default HELP!! even more problems with the stang

well sh*t more problems with the stang!!!! i just installed the professional productsbig mouth plenum with the stock throttle body and now 300 miles later i get the check engine light???? i called UPR and talked to a rep and he told me that they havent had any problems with using the stock t/b. has any body else had these problems withplenums? H EL P ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !!

Did you disconnect the battery during the install to give the computer a chance to relearn the MAF or whatever?

take your car to autozone and actually plug in their obdII scanner and find out what code it is :] it might not even be the new plenum n such!

you should've gotten a new tb! throttle response ftw!

yes i did disconnect the battery and i have taken it to autozone wensday and today same code came up but i forgot what one it was

P1131 Lack of HO2SII switch - sensor indicates lean

and

P1151 Lack of HO2S21 switch - sensor indicates lean

any body have these codes?????

i also am now getting a CEL from my TB Plenum swap, saying the same thing.. lean[sm=smiley26.gif]

well i just took off the plenum and put the stock one back on a few minuets ago and went for a drive everything feels fine, idel is smooth. ill just sell this one and buy a t/b. shame its only 3 weeks old but i hate the cel!!!!

I have gotten those codes too. I think its the O2 sensor(s).

It's lean. If disconnecting the battery didn't work then it's time for a tune.....
