Hey every one i have an 04 mustang gt and installed the regular magnaflow catback on it not the magnapack version. I want something louder and was wondering if i could install slp loudmouth resonators on the magnaflow catback, this way i don't have to spend $400 buying a brand new catback. If any one has done this or can find some info to help me out here would be much appreciated thanks.

You can always buy the resonators and have them welded in place of the magnaflows.

True true, thanks for the tip hopefully i will be able to clamp it in like the magnaflow mufflers right now but if all else fails welding will work lol.

Do you have a sound clip any where i can hear them? Since it is not the slp pipes it's not going to distort the sound will it?

yea i have vid's but they are no where near close to what they sound like in real life (loud wise). i will dig them up

How were you able to get the muffler in/out to line up for the new slp's? Because on the magnaflow muffler now it has an offset/offset design were as the slp's are just center/center. Were you able to rotate the piping enough to make it fit? Because looking at it from under the car it looks like it won't be possible sadly.

Well hopefully i can get it to work for my 04 but i want to find some one that has actually done it so i know im not going to waste $140. And now if i think about it i might not be able to do it because the one of the hangers is located on the magnaflow muffler so if i take that off it's going to sag.
