Do you ever regret getting nitrous?

Do you ever regret getting nitrous?
Lol im sure you all love your bottles....
But what im asking is do you ever regret that you bought nitrous instead of saving for a supercharger?
I have right around $3,000 saved up and i have decided to waste it on my car.
So my options are:
1. Get a nitrous setup. If i do this i will also do gears/tuner/stall right away and i want the works with the setup. Bottle warmer/purge/A-pillar gauges etc.
The only thing i see that sucks about nitrous is having to keep refilling and that its not a permanent power increase.
2. Do a blower setup. I would probably do the mongoose kit seeing that i see many good reveiws about it and its the cheapest.
Bad thing is its expensive... and gears etc would have to wait as i am a poor college student and funds come slowly.
Tell me what you think

RE: Do you ever regret getting nitrous?
For 3k you can have a pretty sick nitrous setup with money left over for supporting mods (built rear, suspension, etc...).
Are you looking to drag race it, though? Nitrous is really only good for drag racing.

I vote for a blower too. . . Shop around for a used one, or check out the sticky about the $1500 Blower Build. Even if you spend 2500 on the blower setup you could still get gears and a tuner for a little more than 500 bucks.

I love the tq that I get from N2O, a big blower would be nice though. I'd venture to say that I've spent enough on N2O to have already bought a SC kit, but I spray a lot.

I say since your that close moneywise to a supercharger just get it. Once you get nitrous you might regret not spending the little extra for constant boost instead of having a limited supply. Plus you wont have a whistle/whine. After filling the bottle many times you could have just gotten a supercharger and been done with it

I'm going with nitrous personally since the torque is nasty and it won't be my DD forever. I love the sound of a cammed NA 2v. I'm not really worried about filling up the bottle, since I won't be using it unless I'm at the track.
Since you want it to be a fun DD, I'd get a blower. Nitrous is better for a car that sees the track more often.
