NITROUS FINALLY GETTIN INSTALLED 3/20
The NX Plate system will be installed Next Thursday ****'s! I got the 3G RPM Window Switch, Zex Dual Outlet Purge, and Plugs. I know I need the bottle heater and crap, and its comin soon!!! Ill have to get the tune later... Cant afford the $500 bucks right now... Should I run 100 or 150?

Iv'e heard so many mixed opinions about the tune... Some say you definitely need a tune but some say you'll be okay without one... Im confused man

150 shot? I take it your motor isn't stock? Honestly you don't really need a tune. I pulled -2 timing and went on the dyno and made no adjustments. It is good to make sure your A/F isn't retarded somehow. I think it's good to get it on the dyno to check the A/F and know how much power you're making, but it's not "necessary."

Just pull 2 degree's for every 50shot (1* for a 25) and up it as you see fit. just keep an ear out for knock.

i thought it was 1degree for 50hp?
i wouldnt run a 150 shot on a stock bottom end and i wouldnt run more than like a 50 shot without a tune (nx's are rated whp, zex and others are crank hp. so your 50 shot on a nx kit is like saying a 75 on a zex. 150 on a nx kit is really like a 200 shot on a zex kit this is all give or take a bit but you get the idea). thats playing with fire. you may get burned and you may not

colder plugs, retarded timing- nesssary. A dyno tune isnt needed, check your plugs for the correctA/F ratio. If it is too far off then get it tuned. ALSO,dependson what elce you have done to your car. If your car is fairly close to stock, you shouldnt need a tune.
