Default Emissions

well i have emissions comming up this year. since i have full exhaust and well no cats, i know i will fail. but if i buy a shorty H pipe with cats will I pass?

yeah some cats can help... I assume you mean you have after market headers by FULL EXHAUST right?? alot depends also in what state you live in. Here in California they do a visual inspection, Sniffer test & they plug your car to their computer to check for any codes that you car my be trowing. almost forgot if they are ****** they will be looking for carb #'s on everything that looks aftermarket..... visual you will fail. it illegal to remove or alter catalitic convertors in any shape or form, so even if you have two cats, you can still possibly fail. but like said above it depends on your situation. you can get a tuner (XCal, Sniper, etc) and turn off your rear O2 sensors if you don't have a visual. sniffer you could pass if you have two cats and just an OBD (on board diagnostic).

well i live up in WA, i believe on my car they just plug it in, get a reading and let me go. atleast that was the way they did it to my moms 00' v6. they dont do an inspection here =D

yeah i dont think that will be working for me, i could put the stock tune back on there and HOPE it passes, but i doubt it will rofl.

if your throwing codes all you need to do is get mil elimators and that will kill the code your throwing for the o2 sensors...
