Default Lowered Corner

Ok so I noticed something weird about my car. The rear driver's side sits lower than the rest of the car. All 3 other wheels have a 4 inch (Yes 4in! stock springs FTL!!) gap between the top of the tire and the fender, but the rear left is at 3in. Any idea of what could be causing this?

Was there ever any work done to your car before you got it? It could have been wrecked possibly and that shock could different then all the others possibly...

How many miles do you have. Chances are, if it's just one, could be shock/ spring there. Now if you have a whole side issue like I do, you'd probably be visiting the shop with a frame machine soon. Changing the springs like you plan along with shocks should help you out. And those shocks will work just fine if you do get them.

My car has 65K on the clock and it's just the left rear that sits an inch lower. My car was in an accident, but only the passenger's side door and fender were damaged. I'm hoping it's the spring that's causing the trouble. I'll get it on a lift and see if I can visually see a difference between the two rear shocks/springs.

Chances are you won't be able to notice it by just looking at a broken/ worn shock, if you changing them soon, you'll find out soon enough. I wouldn't fight it til you change what you plan to change on your suspension.
