Default 2001 Saleen Mustang Supercharged 109k Good buy?

Ive been looking at a 2oo1 saleen supercharged coupe. black. with 110 thousand miles he wants 7900 do you think that is too night and the miles are too high. And he told me also that the insurance will be the same as my GT. becuse inusrance does not have a catagory for Saleen is this true also? im just concern about the miles and that its a supercharged car. He toldme i could stil lget about 280 a tank, i know its a Saleen in all but just give me your info .

thanks

Check into an extended warranty if they will allow it.

Otherwise I'd pass. Lotta miles unless he has all the maintenance records to prove oil changes, ect ect.

sounds good to me.. 110k miles is not a lot of miles at all..some of us expect 300, 350k miles out of our engines. 110 is just breaking it in. Pop the oil cap off and sneak a peak into the engine and look around for any sludge.. look for burnt oil on the dipstick and excess burning on the cap itself.
If anything does go, it would be the charger. Sounds like a good car, just use your judgement..or have it checked out.

that is a steal.... provided its not junk, and even if it is, its still a great deal, even if it needs a new motor

Make sure it is a real Saleen too.
I wouldn't want to get ripped off thinking I was buying a real one for great deal only to find it out it is fake.

In all fairness though, what do you expect, just because its not an original, doesnt make it "fake", in fact it was a complete conversion its not even worth less hypothetically, but the resale should reflect that.
