What were your 1/8th traps?

If they're anywhere near 80, you're car is DYING up high.

But it sounds like you're having issues like 99 gt vert was with his car..

he was trapping a good 5-6 mph lower than he should have been, with mid 14's or higher.

The car should run faster then what you ran. But the time seem to be the same. If next summer you are going to get a sticky tire. you are going to need some gears are it will fall on it face and be slower.

Do a small burnout with your street tires. I know they say you shouldn't burnout street tires but from my experience, they get a bit sticker if you do. Just don't turn your car into a smoke machine - thats for DR's and slicks. Just give it a decent spinning with some smoke and that should help. Don't lower the tire pressure either, thats a waste of time for street tires.

Do you have a lot of crap in your car? remove the spare tire, no have anymore than 1/4 of gas and hopefully you don't have a big sound system.
