Question I've got a stock 96 Mustang GT. What should i get started on?

Alright. So I have a 96 Mustang GT I recently bought. Looking to help improve it. What should i get started on first? gears? exhaust?
you opinions are much apprectiated.

Swap in a 4v or change the entire motor for a 99+ 2v.

if your going to keep it n/a and not get too serious with it i would just start with a pi swap and gears,but if you plan on going f/i in the future the pi swap is goiing to increase your compression so its gona be apita later on and i would just get a 99 and up 2v or a 4v.
