CIVIC LEFT E BREAK DOWN AND ROLLED BACK N HIT SALEEN
Pretty much i was at a friends house, this guy pulls up and walks out, secounds later i hear my car alarm going off. somehow he didn't pull his e break all the way up and his civic rolled back and hit my saleen. the fender is dented on the side , headlight place and above wheel wel, the side of the saleen bumper is messed up , the vents on bumper are cracked etc, he told me to do this without insurence knowing so i got to get 2 estmates and he will pay for it. should i file a police report becuse he has to pay for a rent a car also. when paint jobs repaint bumpers they wont just repaint the side of the saleen front bumper there repaint the whole bumper or replace right.

POLICE REPORT UNLESS YOU 100% TRUST THE GUY THAT DID IT, DON'T TAKE YOUR FRIENDS WORD
I would say 99% of all "lets not call the police, ill pay for it myself" cases do not get solved. you better take some collateral or something. Because if he gets the chance to not pay you, he will.
Dude on second though, file a report immediately. It sounds like the damage that is done is going to cost ALOT to fix, is theres probably no way the kids going to just be able to fork over that kind of money. You will be screwed, trust me.

This same thing happened to me when a guy backed into my bumper in a parking lot, he gave me his work address and everything. never heard from him again.
Trust me, you will get ****ed if you don't take some action. (or unless you just don't care and have hundreds of dollars to just throw away if you need too)

if i file a report do they have to go to his house, or can i file one without knowing, but will they repaint the whole bumper or just the side, they dont do that on bumpers do they its always the whole thing.

even if some one dinged my door in a parking lot if i witnessed it im calling the police, my buddy got screwed over when he got rear ended at really low speeds and trusted the guy to pay. Did you at least get his insurance info in case he tries to screw you over?
