Sniper Special Forces ?'s (cliffy)
Hey guys,
I bought SF and Commando and received it yesterday. Note I also posted to Sniperforums as well but thought you may be able to answer them as well since I have not heard back yet.
Under SF,
1) What should I select for fuel Pump: Focus or 255lb? I have a Focus SVT pump.
2) Returnless Fuel Pressure settings: Stock, +1 through +15. I have stock fuel rails but have 60 lb injectors and BAP.
3) Mass Air Location: Do I have a blow through, draw, stock, or stock w/cold air. I have a vortech v2 SQ and will be using Sniper Bazooka MAF located in right front fender.
4) FMU present Y/N - I have not idea with this one.
Thanks,
Keith

I was using special forces but I put a vortech on about a month ago and needed Pat from delta force tuning to modify my tune with commando and now i'm running good. The reason is because I am using an SCT BA3000 MAF. But you should have a much easier time because you have their MAF and I hear it is very consistent and easy to tune with. I don't like bothering Pat all the time even though he is very helpful so I'm either going to buy Commando or their Bazooka MAF. Post how everything goes using their MAF I'm interested.

Leave the "returnless" stock. You are running a draw thru on the MAF.
FMU = fuel management unit. These were used back in the day when we really didn't have tuning software. They increase fuel rail pressure as boost increases to give enough fuel supply. Back in the day, on blown fox bodies we would see up 90lb. fuel pressure.

I regret getting rid of my SF kit. My stupid MAF was gettin me problems with the tuning. I ended up switching MAFs so I should have just kept the kit. I am thinking about buying the SCT PRP software seeing as I already have an SCT handheld.
