Question Need a new Clutch- HELP

Hey guys,

I guess Its time for a new clutch and I want to make sure it works. Check out the link below and lemme know what you think. Also What do you guys normally get for around this price? Just one step over stock is good for me for now.

Thanks!
Ben

looks good for no more than stock. But ram makes some decent clutches from what ive heard so shouldnt be too bad. And cant beat the price man.

What do you have done to your car? I just installed a FRPP King Cobra clutch in my car and it grabs TIGHT. I recommend that clutch for a full bolt on car; pedal feel is about the same. I couldnt be happier with my choice.

Well after looking over the car, what I KNOW is on it is:

K&N Cold Air Intake
2.5 inch dual exhaust w/ h pipe
Looks like the guy put in some underdrive pulleys.
And there is an electric fan the guy put in as well.

non engine mods:

coil over suspension w/ camber plates
rear stabilizer bar.
lowered 1 1/2"

this was all on the car when I got it.

Ok, first things first: Your car doesnt even have close to 290-300HP on it. You most likely only have about 280ish at the crank with those mods(thats about 235-240 RWHP; most of use speak in terms of rear wheel hp).

I suggest you go for a stage 1 type clutch or the King Cobra. You dont need anything more than the factory clutch to be honest.

but first we gotta figure out if he has an early or late 01 car. cus if i remember correctly, they take different clutches and there is no king cobra clutch kit for the late 01-04.

Do you plan on doing gears or nitrous or s/c? At the bottom of the page it says to NOT use that clutch if you have or plan on getting those mods.
