Lots of people seem to like BFG street tires. Whats your reason for not wanting a drag radial? treadwear? rain? You should really look into the Nitto DR's as they are a great tire for what they are. Awesome on the street, acceptable in the rain, last a good while, etc.

NT05's for sure. They grip fantastic. Next best thing to a full on DR. I love em. AND they are pretty damn reasonably priced compared to other performance tires.

theres a lot of good street tires

the kdws are good, goodyear eagle f1s were holding my stalled auto and 400 hp to the ground amazingly well

vredestein sessantas are also awesome tires

+1 on the Vredesteins.

My father is running the Vredesteins and I am ridiculously impressed with their performance. Their wet performance is amazing. Their dry is better than the Nitto 555's from my experience. I would buy them as a street tire if I was looking for them.
