Default 98 GT exhaust system!

I've search around and couldn't find what I was looking for, so here it goes.

I have a 98 GT 4.6 with only a after-market IM and K&N CAI. I'm looking for a exhaust system that is deep, ear popping but not popping the sound of the exhaust. I was looking at Magnaflows Stainless Cat-Back System(here) with their performance exhaust pipe(here) but I can't find any videos of a 98 GT with it. Hell, I'm not even sure if they will make the sound I want.

so throw in some suggestions on what would give me a deep, loud exhaust without going over the top. Also, would replacing the "mid pipe" gain me noise, or would I be better off replacing the headers?

im not a big flowmaster fan, but so far i really liked their sound over other systems. go headers and get an o/r x pipe built when you put the exhaust at a good muffler shop.

What headers would you suggest? Long tube, is what I'm getting, but what brand?

I will check em out! Thanks! Also, nice mustangs, looks like mine ( different wheels and hood). Dad is going to buy me a hood when I find one I like enough.

i have shorties, but wish i went long tube. def go with stainless steel, but what brand i dont know. as long as theyre pretty open/free flowing and no restricting bends, most of any will be fine.

I think this is what I'm going to go with, still going to look around through and I'm checking out the mid pipe right now!

@OP: If you're thinking about going with flows, just go with MACs. Everything flows do, MACs do better. ie: no drone, deeper, louder.
