Default ***Might be my new Mustang***??

http://roanoke.craigslist.org/cto/1395260092.html

I have been more patient in finding the car i want, he will birng me the car for 5900 im 5 hours away. Its 1 owner .

Good find you think?

if its been taken care of i think it would have alot of life left. its the original clutch thu
says theres no gear wine from the gears. He also said the 373 gears make the speedo read slower so if the speedo says 65 your going 60. so its puting less miles on the car? i thought it was the other way around. He said when the gears were put in he got the spedo corrected. any thoughts.

thanks.

Does look horrible but dirty engines make me cry. (And think it wasn't taken care of.)

If you like it, buy it

/thread

FWIW I think that price is a little high, $5-5.5k max.

I think he meant doesn't look horrible.

I disagree about the dirty engines remark. I bought my GT from the original owner. It was garage kept and low mileage but the engine bay looked like ass. He had all receipts for routine and schedule maintenance and the car drove like new so I knew he took care of it. A lot of people just don't bother or don't even consider cleaning the engine bay. To many people these cars are just a mustang and are a dime a dozen.

Paintball, I think the car looks good but you need to make that determination in person. Pictures never tell the whole story.

And, if you don't mind me asking, how many mustangs have you owned already?

Where i live in MD, mustangs are expensive 99 GT Stock with bad paint go for 6200. ppl think around here if you put exhasute and rims its like worth a million dollars. I tell ppl they dont get what they put in but they dont belive me. I could buy a 75 to 80k millage stang for 7500 to 8000 or buy a higher millage stang for 5900 , i would have money left over but i guese its all about if i think it will last . 115000 isn't that high of millage.

But is that true about car reading slower with gears i thought it was other way around. He corrected the speedo but still reads slow he said? So if its reading slower i would be putting more miles on the car but it would be reading less then right? so the odometer would show less
