Default How common is this?

I have a '96, 4.6L GT. It's a manual, but EVERYTHING about it is manual. No power seats, windows, locks, trunk button, etc. The only thing that's power is the mirrors. Just wondering how common it really is for Mustangs to come without power windows, etc?

Well, my tuner said he's never seen one like mine, and they specialize in Mustangs. It does have power windows and doors, but no ABS or traction control.

It's a 248A mustang, also known as the GTS. I have one too, but I have the option 1 package which adds power windows and locks. It's a bare bones mustang GT with nothing but a motor and the rear end of the GT. It was the fewest made mustang of all, even less than the Cobra. Funny that I am PMing a guy right now on here that has two of em.

seriously...i just got the car in october. i spent about a hour searching for it. i even broke out a flash light and looked under the seats and steering wheel. and i came out with the conclusion ford just didn't put one in. i'll have to check that out tomorrow b/cthe car's in my dads garage drying since i just fixed a leak.

on a 2nd note: how do you find out if you have a 248a??? is that listed on the vin number? or is that just a 96 gt thing.
