How to remove rear bench

Yes when you find the tabs just under the front of each rear seat, I used a screwdriver to press in the white tab/button. As you're pressing that tab in, lift up and down on the front of the bench seat until it releases out of the pin.
This was a PITA for me you'll probably fight it for a while but it will come out.

I had used a flat head screw driver to do mine. The tabs are located in the "middle" underneath each seat.
Take a screw driver, slide it between the seat and floor pan.
Then slide it side to side to help loacate the tab.
Once you have found it, push on it with the screw driver and lift the seat cushion up.
Its as simple as that.
The first time is a pita if you've never done it before, but once you figure out how it works, it literally takes 2 min to do each seat.
As for the backing of the seats, if you have to remove them, the easiest was is to remove the entire rear seat mount.(big black square metal piece) then take it( along with the backs of the seats) out at the same time. You will need a reg socket set for this.

The piece the pins go into is the tab that everyone is talking about. This tab "latches" to the pins when they are inserted. There is a "button/tab" that you have to push in that lets the pins go. Just like a buckle on your seat belt.

Wait so do i need to push the seat back more and lift it out? Or do i need to find these tabs first? It seem's like there is no definite answer. It almost seems like i need to find these buttons underneath the seat to release it, but yet there underneath so i cant access it! Haha just like inventing a lightbulb before electricity. But im sure its simple. I played around with the seat for about a minute today and gave up.
Oh and ive actually had two alpine type R subs sitting around for about 2 years. Time to put them to some use I'm so close to getting everything ready for the subs. Ive actually been in the cold wrestling with these new headlights i got from AM, but one of them wont fit for **** or im doing something wrong, but the subs were on the back burner until i could find a sure way of just routing the power cords under the seats.
