In the market for another mustang found this 5.4L
Like it says im in the market for another mustang i was planning on buying a cobra but i ran across this 96 gt 5.4L http://www.mautofied.com/1996-Ford-m...ing/100246380/ I was wondering why the hp was so slow considering its a 5.4L. What do you guys think is it worth $5500 or should i just buy a cobra?

either 99 - 2001 i would like an 03/04 cobra but i dont have the kinda of cash around to buy one. I have also heard about the 99 Cobras being a bad year is that true? . i cant see the link while a work, but if this car is black stay away from it. it used to be a buddy of mines car. we built it about a year ago. its a junkyard 5.4 with god knows how many 150 shot nitrous passes on it with no tune. he traded the car about 6 months ago when the motor started ticking.

Very nice 5.4l swapped Mustang GT, built at Modular powerhouse in GA. Tuned on nitrous, Interior is mint, has a tach on a A-piller and 3 gages over the radio. (nitrous, fuel pres, water temp) motor came out of a 01 Lighting, with a 01 Lighting ECU as well, car is ready to bolt on a supercharger with a tune. built t45 tranny, spec stage 3 racing clutch, aftermarket fuel system, 4.10 gears, intake, injectors, tb spacer, suspension, catless o/r x-pipe with flowmaster 40 series true dual exhaust, roll bar behind the 2 front seats. tinted windows (murdered out) wingless trunk. car has 99 stock GT wheels on it. sold the cobra R wheels for some money. gets about 20-22 mpg on the hwy for it to be a 5.4l mustang. car has a good stance and is a head turner for sure!! on nitrous car puts about 410 hp. nitrous ready car, just put it on and ride, already tuned for it. looking for a 99-04 mustang GT or a 4x4 truck, NO JUNK!!!!
