Default V6 Altima Coupe Challenge

Hey folks, I hope everyone had a good weekend....

So my best friend bought an 09 V6 Altima Coupe 6 speed manual and threw a cold air intake on it (everything else is stock) and is challenging me to a heads up race on the track this spring.

My performance mods include 4.10s w/ built rear, bassani catback, o/r H pipe, CAI, short throw (5 speed).

Do you guys think I'll take him heads up?

Blow it and spray it...then don't tell him.

haha there was one at the track a few weeks back that I saw.
If your car runs faster then high 14's you should be fine.

I think they make 275 to the crank coming from the factory, but it pulls pretty hard!

Should be interesting, the same 3.5 engine is rated at 337 hp in the 350 Z & the G 37. My brother swears his 09 g37 is on par with his 99 Cobra, O/R Bassani and 4.10's. He traded the cobra after his Ist winter in Minneapolis Minn. The Altima has the 3.5 also (fwd). I have faith you'll pull him from a dig.

Forgot to mention, the Altima has a
(fwd) crappy CVT tranny. Advetised hp ratings are around 20 less than the 370 Z and G37. U should'nt have a problem. Let us know how badly you spank that rice.

yeah but his friend bought the 6 speed version....I've test driven the CVT version and it's really smooth and brisk...but I think the Mustang still wins
