Default 10-PSI non inter-cooled?

I'm looking to buy a new vortech v1 tuner kit from summit in a few months. My 03 is finally paid off this summer so it will no longer be a dd. The car has 90k on the clock but has been pretty well maintained. I was curious if many of you guys are running 10psi without an intercooler? I was thinking of getting a smaller pulley and a boost pipe, but I dont feel like spending the extra money on the cooling right now. I will be running 93 octane and I am going to get the car tuned from a reputable source. Wondered what you guys thought of this set-up?

Eh with the price of DIY intercoolers, you far better off getting one than not. 10 psi is going to build a lot of heat.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not the most mecahnically gifted guy, so building my own intercooler might be a bit difficult. I don't have a problem running only 9psi, just kinda curious if i could get away with 10...

If your going to spend money to get a supercharger, do it right! Especially if you plan on running 9-10psi

+1 you can definitely run 10psi if your car is tuned correctly to pull timing when the IATs get too hot. You aren't going to make **** for power on a hot day tho!

Personally, i'd run meth or an intercooler with 10psi, but i've seen it done without. Like mentioned above, you won't make great power on hotter days. That alone would be enough for me not to do it.

I ran 10psi non cooled for 2 years making 429 rwhp. Just make sure you have a big maf and the fuel is there you will be fine.

I'm running 10 psi non-intercooled right now because my aftercooler is broken.
