It's official. Getting HID's
The only real place I know where to get a complete set for my 2000 Mustang GT is Americanmuscle.com and hidxenonheadlights.com

Is this kit good? I like the looks of it, but it seems expensive. Are there cheaper places that I can get these lights?
Also, does this kit cover the foglights too? Does it have bulbs for both sets of lights?
Lastly, will these shine well through completely smoked lenses?

Looks like a FAIR price for 'dual beam' HID's.
That specific kit does not come with fog's.
And guaranteed it will be much better than your factory bulbs out of our smoked plastics. Smoked headlights SUCK for night visibility haha.
Good mod to have.

I bought my kit from DDMtuning, much cheaper. The kit seems fairly solid, comes with a lifetime warranty. The kit they sent me did have the High/Low wires mixed though. A few guys on here have had problems with their kit as well- I've had mine for about a month now so I can not speak for how well they hold up over time. Try doing a search for HIDs and read the old threads about them.

^ i have the same as td...i ordered mine from ddmtuning.com heads and fogs and got them shipped for $80ish doll hairs and wired up easy and look like good quality bulbs...why spend 280 for 1 when you can get both for around 25% of the price...

I cheaped out and got mine on ebay. Like 75 bucks shipped for 35watt headlights and fogs. Didn't care for dual beam and didn't want to blind others with 55watts. They are way bright and super easy to install.

I know right! As far as silverstars, been there and WONT go there again. They look decent but still had lack luster light output. They also won't last as long as a normal halogen. Replacing them once the blow you will have the same amount in them as an HID kit that the bulbs can last for years But to each his own.
