Default Magnaflow or Bassani?

I am going to get an offroad X-Pipe. I have flowmaster 40's for a catback.

I noticed that Bassani is a much higher cost than a lot of the x pipes... is there really a difference? I noticed that you need to extend the O2 sensors too.

But is there a sound difference between all these brand names?

I wouldn't spend so much on one, personally.

I had a BBK on my first stang, and now I have a MAC.

Try to find a used one since you aren't getting a catted one.

I know a guy with a BBK o/r x and an american thunder catback and it sounds like ****. Can't hold a candle to my MAC & Bassani set up.

What do you mean by "sounds like ****"? Do you mean you don't like the raspy sound?

Just doesn't sound good imo. Everyone likes something different.

Get the BBK, more raspy sounding to me. Will sound close/exactly like that guys set up.

Some company's X pipes sound the same as other company's and some are very different sounding. Do you have headers or stock manifold?

He has a factory midpipe, I'm guessing he has factory manifolds, or could have shorties.

I'm getting my longtubes tomorrow. Can't wait.
