Default After the S/C whats next.....

What's up guys? 1st 6 mths of my deployment, I've installed a 03 Cobra front bumper, MGW Short Throw Shifter (WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE), Raptor shift light and a Kaenen Mustang 95 Style Cobra R Hood (will post pictures next week)..... The last 6 mts of my deployment will be geared towards performance. Once I return in Oct, I've decided to go with a Vortech S/C (V-3 Si-Trim). Once I install the S/C, I'm really leaning towards buying a set of Patriot Stage 2 Heads. Will that be a good fit with my current setup? Let me know what you guys think....

Better start thinking about a built block when you start thinking about heads and/or cams with boost

Yeah thats the goal man..... Don't really drive the car that much and I must say its become a hobby.. After I install the S/C and heads will start to work on the engine internals and suspension... My goal is to have (1 day) a 11 second stang!!!

Putting worked heads on a stock internals 2v is an absolute death sentence for your block. You have MORE than enough capability with just an S/C on a totally stock car to blow the motor at will. On top of all the bolt ons you have as it is you are gonna be in the danger zone BEFORE the heads. Getting those heads instead of forged internals will be a complete waste of money. Research and think this through first.

+1... Spend the money you would of spent on heads towards forged internals.

Agreed with everyone above. The S/c alone will be able to blow your stock motor.

Why Throw the Supercharger and Heads on the car and Ruin your bottom end...

if your serious about spending that much cash buy a built shortblock and some trickflow heads / Cams. Then you can sell your stock motor for a decent price.

Built shortblock + S/c =WAY better than S/c and Heads +Stock block...

Either way on the stock block Most say limit 450whp... (when 400whp cars get blown up).....

With a Built shortblock and that supercharger you can make ~500whp with the bolt ons.. (be prepared for a fuel system)

+1 400RWHP can and will blow your connecting rods....Some run 400RWHP for 3 years with no problems and some blow it up in 3 months. Time for a gamble!

+1 Get some Full Length Sub-Frame Connectors welded in and some quality LCAs after the blower and forged bottom end and you will not regret it one bit.
