Default Eaton "roots" blower

I found a used eaton "roots" style blower for sale locally by me and the guy wants $250 for it. Can someone tell me if this is a good deal? I thought it was but wanted to double check...

You're gonna need a little more to convert the kit to work on our cars. The blower itself seems like a good deal though. Someone else wanna put some input?

I believe the adaptor plate alone cost close to 2k, that alone makes it nowhere near worth it. I could put together a complete vortech kit for near the price of the plate. That was about a year or so ago so idk if the company making the adaptor dropped their prices or not.

Depends on the mileage and condition, you might be able to make a couple hundred off of it but dont expect to make a killing. More than likely its priced low for a reason.

Eaton makes at least 1/2 dozen basic models, with scores of variations, which particular one is this that you have found?

Im getting my eaton for free and the kit to put it on a 2v is $1950 and it has the intercooled intake manifold and stuff, all you gotta do is fuel, maf, intake tube, and supply the blower. You can get a huge heat exchanger if you want and an intercooler resevoir, but one off an 03 cobra would work if im not mistaken. But im getting the eaton free and the 03 cobra fuel hat and stock injectors for cheap from the same guy. Having the eaton ported and gonna slap her on there and make a decent amount of power.
