Default Helicoil?

So i blew a plug out of the head yesterday and im trying to find a helicoil kit to fix it. Does anyone know where i can buy one? I've checked sears, autozone, home depot, lowes and noone has it. I don't really feel like waiting ordering it online. Are there any special stores i could look at?

Where in CT are you from? You can try Excelerate Performance Shop in Branford. They have a really cool setup. Kind of reminds me of a Fast and Furious type shop....I think they will be able to help you fast.

I'm from Trumbull/Bridgeport area...nice to see someone else from CT on here! Sorry to hear about your Stang man, Call them up at Excelerate Performance, I've bought quite a few things from them. If they don't have it in stock, they will get it quick. Probably your best bet vs. waiting 10-14 days or so from ordering online.

Because Helicoiles are not a permanent fix like timserts are. Helicoiles can spit out just like the spark plug did.
