Im not worried about 2000-3000 RPM range, I just want to have the majority of my boost then. Why WOULDNT you want your power as early as possible?

Welcome to the 5.4 club!

When cruising around, the 5.4's NA torque is a big step up from the 4.6. I went from a 4.6 with 4.10 to a 5.4 with 3.55s and you really don't ever have to downshift to pass someone anymore regardless of the gear. So adding a turbo, that is going to spool early, can only equal win.

True, true. But for me I would be only concerned with the 4000-6500 range and make sure I'm fully spooled by 4000, not so much as early as possible. But nonetheless it will be a stout car.

What intake are going to be running?

I'm, not sure if this was to the intake question... but Hoss you better not run spacer plates and a stock 4.6 intake manifold.

HPS intake is really the only way to go... I wish it was out when I did my swap... I would have bought that in a heartbeat.

I am talking intake. He stated earlier he is using the stock plastic lower.

Dteal, he isn't saying it comes on sooner, but rather just as quick really and it will make more torque than with a kenne bell.

I think Hoss could easily make 400/500 with a 4.6 block. I forget who the member on here was but he made like 420/520 with the stock longblock. It would also save money because you wouldn't need to buy a 5.4 block and save you a few pounds.

well if u have 550 lbs of tq you won't want it at 2500 rpms on a street car for sure. I like your idea of a turbo mustang if done correctly are fast as hell.
