I just went ahead with the ford racing 3.73s was going backa dn forth between those and the richmonds figured oem was hopefully the way to go hasnt let me down so far Havnt gotten the gears in yet holidays have been nuckin futs. Anyway when my shifts over gonna make some calls and try to get em in this weekend. Ill sneak up on my homie he wont even know what hit him in his damn riceboy evo jap car thats ****in awesome ...

setup my appointment at the shop in Auburn by buddie with his evo is gonna come along. And im definatly bringing my camcorder hehe gonna be a damn close race. Wish my subframe connectors would get here in time for it but oh well wish me luck links on tuesday!!!!

Unfortuantly with you're current mods the evo is gonna eat you alive especially if its running added boost.

evo's really aren't that fast in stock/close to stock form.

Even with stock power they still have a way better power curve than a bolt on mustang 2v. Turbo Torque+AWD>2v lol

OP's best chance is if the Evo is stock...though I am curious to see the outcome of the two cars from a roll. From a dig, Evo's can be nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Race them at the track from a dead stop (where true racing should be done)!!! A stock EVO will only run mid 13's, so he has a chance against it if he can drive. This would probably be a drivers race more than a vehicle match up.

I would say the Mustang has a better chance from a roll, since the AWD can't be leveraged to help the EVO's launch. An EVO should launch from a stop quite a bit better than the Mustang.
