Default should I get wide tires for rear?

I have had my OE wheels 17x9 bullitt wheels for about a year and I love the way they look, when I first ordered them i was going to go with 17x10.5 in the back with 315/35/17 but I decided to go with 17x9 all around with 245's cause I was worried about rubbing in the rear and driveability, but I have some money to spend and I have been looking at pics on here with mustang with fatties and I just love the way it looks. I can get 2 dd 17x10.5 from OE wheels for $284.80 shipped. So what do you guys think should I do it? and is 315/35/17 the right size? will it screw up my speedo any? any chane I will have rubbing problems with quad shocks or exhaust?
I have fire stone wide ovals with less than 5000 miles, I was hoping they made a 315 but they do not so what tire shoud I go with for the rear?
post pics if you have 315's.

right now I think I would rather get the wheels than lower as it is my daily driver and if I did lower it 315's would be out for me as I would probably have to roll the fenders and that is something I am not willing to do.

Should be able to go 325 w/o rubbing.

I have 17x9 stock style bullitts in the rear with 275's and I am happy with them, albeit they seem a slight bit narrow but thats because I am using 275 nitto 555R's which run narrower than other 275's. My next pair of rear tires is gonna be some 285 Nitto 555 street tires. I made a thread asking for pics and someone posted up a pic of 17x9's with the exact same tire I am looking to get, and it has a nice look without bulging too much

IMO go with the wider tire, check the return policy on the DD rim's and test fit them. If they do rub return the rims. If they don't then WIN for you.

I know the rim will fit without rubbing but I do no know about that wide of a tire and I think when you mount a tire to the rim it voids the return policy

Id get the wide meats, I am currently lowered with a 315/35/17 and I didn't need to roll the fenders.

Go 275/40 on your stock rim. Best of both worlds.
Rolling the fenders will depend on what offset the new rim would be and what brand tire (since physical width varies by brand).
