Whats with the howling? Sounds like metal to metal like rotor to casing rubbing, may wan't to get that checked ASAP. Congrats on getting her started.

Yeah OP thats not sounding good. Aside from a slight whistle your idle should sound 100% stock. My KB whistles a lil bit but is completely stock sounding other than that. All other eatons i've seen sound very very similar. I probly couldnt tell a diff if I was blindfolded. I hear absolutely no combustion going on in that video and I hear some weird howling.

I put fresh oil in the blower after I got it. The guy before me took off the snout of the blower. Do you think he could have messed it up?

Hard to tell from just a sound clip man, I'd really have that blower looked at. Maybe you should drop the $$ and send it to steggy to get rebuilt and ported. My L had a st4 steg and it was a beast. At idle it was silent

Send a copy of this video to Posi over at SVTP and have him listen to it, it sounds like theres excessive play either in the front drive or the rear bearings and its causing the rotors to contact the casing. Dont run the car until he gets back to you with the diagnosis!

YES!

Should be damn near silent at idle, just as it is in the video. What was the problem? Bypass valve stuck shut? lol
