I could very well sell my car and do the same...

So therefore i have the same opportunity and still say don't do it!

WOW get the damn Mach lol with 10K mi on it??

There is a good sized thread on M1R about Hp/mods and with simple midpipe, CB, and MAYBE a aftermarket CAI setup and a tune people are over 300 to the wheels on machs. So GT guys do exhaust for sound (I know i did) but on a Mach you would actually get something out of it.

I love you guys telling him to keep the GT and throw another ~2-4K to supercharge or whatever and how that will be beating a stock mach....well no ****. Apples to oranges. Put all the work into a mach that you did to the GT and it's game over.

Look at what you are into your car for including mods and see what HP you are at (if that's a huge deal for you) and look at what a stock mach is at HP wise for the selling price...go from there.

If you are into your car for say 14K and hitting 260hp and you can buy the mach at 15K and start at 270-280hp? Not to mention it will have 10K mi. save some money, put gears, exhaust, a tune and it will haul azz.

The whole color thing....I'm not a huge fan of a black mach. I LOVE my Azure Blue (I like blue in general). I just love how the black and blue work together.

In the end get a mach no doubt. It just comes down to selling price, mileage and color.

Goodluck

i explained the paying situation somewhere in like page 1 but i would end up owning the mach without payments. i would sell my car basically stock, sell the mods seperately (bodyparts, rims, performance), graduation from college in may, birthday in june...it would be paid in full in the end
Without the payments there is no argument. Sell the GT and get the Mach 1. Everything else is just a sunk cost so it should have zero effect on your future decision.

This is funny a week ago i had the same decision sell my Gt or get a mach 1 i decided to keep my gt heres y!

max horsepower internals can withstand for both are 450hp

both 5spd

mach 1 just has 4v dohc and a ram intake thats pretty much performance different
all of which i could do on my car and get better results plus everything for a 2v is cheaper and yet you get the same if not better results.

If i was driving a car and pulled up to ur GT and raced you and you beat me i would say that is one fast gt where a mach 1 i would say well its a mach 1 thats y!!!!

In my opinion keep your GT, a well built 2v is more impressive than a well built 4v as far as mach 1 goes.

The 2v also respond very well to minor modifications..

GT's are underated and mach 1 are over rated keep your car dude modify the **** out of it.
