If I had an auto tranny the first thing I would do to it is the J-mod, then get a tuner. Then add nitrous, then win.

Hoss I got it man. But what happens when the nitrous runs out? Yes he can go and buy more but damn man that stuff will add up over a year or so...I'm advocating real hard for the S/C build. I did my build while deployed to Afghnastain. If I can do it anyone can do it. Just something to think about OP. BTW if you wanna have heads turning, try pulling up next to a guy who think's he has a fast car and he hears that V1 whining. It' priceless to say the least.. +1 on the S/C build..

Idk How much those refills are on the nitrous but like soldier said it could start adding up over time. There are deals to be had on blowers used or new esp the centri set ups. $2400 for mine brand new complete v1 s trim kit. Just have to stay on the hunt andbe willing to travel a lil bit if you have too. I know i only had to drive like 170+ miles to pick mine up. I look at it this way you can take a pain pill/nitrous and keep taking it/refill or you can get the big bag of morphine drip/blower and always have the power there no refills.

Obviously filling bottles is the biggest drawback, but you might be surprised at how long a bottle will last on the street. Since most street races don't always go from 1st thru 4th, it will last longer than you might think.

BTW, i pay $4 per lb on the nitrous, so a bone dry 10lb bottle would run $40 for me. I paid $500 for my entire nitrous setup. With that said, i would have to run through 40-50 bottles to equal a blower at $2000-$2500. I run probably around 4 or 5 bottles a year on average. So for someone like me, it would take around 10 years of filling bottles to equal the price of a used basic centrifugal blower.

I'm not saying nitrous is a better idea for you, i'm just telling you how it is in my case.
