Alright. So i've been thinking what else i can do to this car... And it hit me! Why not put on some fender stripes? They can be aggressive when done right and vinyl is free for me. So it might be worth a shot.. I like the fact that i've NEVER seen em on a 99-04 body style. Thinking about doing em just on the driver's side in flat black.

What's everyone's take on this? Anybody in the 4.6 GD section good with photoshop?

I was thinking just (2) 2" stripes on the fender.

Does anybody have a picture of this on a 99-04?! I think that it MIGHT work since we have sharp lines on our cars...

Good thing i just opened this up after searching 31 PAGES in google images for fender stripes on a 99-04

Guess what i found on page 31? It's not laser red, but it's close enough


I'm looking for something exactly like that ^^ but maybe a little further towards the front of the car? Any opinions on placement using this red car as a comparison?

Guess i'll be grabbing some vinyl and going to town sometime this week.

I'm actually pretty excited about this.

Cliff -- Get in here and tell me how wide your stripes are and post pics! Please, of course.

I like them. Cliff defiantly has them. Are you thinking about doing black ones or some different color? If you could find a way to do something like the stripes on the GT/CS s197 where they like fade from black to grey, that would be pretty cool.

It seem like the ones in that pic you posted up are too long. It seems like they shouldn't quite go to the hood. Im not too big of a fan of them.

I was thinking about doing just regular black. I'm sure i can have my buddy make some stripes that fade though. He owns a sign business.

But for now, i think i'll try to cut some stripes and put em on and see how they look. Then post pics.

I know exactly what you are talking about... I think that i would angle them SLIGHTLY more upward so they aren't as long, and move them a little more to the front of the car so it's less striping...

Get what i'm saying?
