I'm a FORD guy, but it is hard to argue with how well these SS Camaros run with just a few mods. 70 additional cubic inches makes a big difference, and they come with good heads right from the factory.

NO comparison between a truly LOW mileage car and one with 120k+ miles. There is at least 6 full years of driving mileage difference between the two. That is easily worth the additional $7000.

Since you know the owner well, I would be inclined to go for it if a reasonable deal can be worked out.

To be honest i like the stying and exhaust note a little better on the Mustang, but the LS1 power is just insane compared to the 4.6 2 valve. A really basic HCI setup, and you're at 420-440 rwhp n/a. Throw a 100-125 shot on top of that and make 550 rwhp & 600+ rwtq. That's a big difference lol. Plus throw on some bad a$$ rims, drop it, and i personally think the SS looks pretty damn sweet.

Keep in mind the ONLY way i would even consider this is if i can get 11-12k for my ride, and the Camaro for maybe 13k. I really like my ride, but with all the new cars coming out with high hp, the 2 valve gt is really outclassed in that area. Besides i can't think of any other car that you can get with the LS1 power and capability, that doesn't cost a fair bit more.

No rod noooooooo! Jk, that is the same car I'm looking for for a project lol. I sold the v6 to 5.4 project to fund it lol so the stangs are safe. Also do you still have your stock pi cams? I might buy them from you if you do.

Rod, there will always be someone faster than you. If you really like your ride I don't see why you should trade it. Sure the LS1 power is nice but you have done a lot to your car. I say keep it and put a KB on there like you have been wanting to for so long.
