and that's with an O/R X-pipe, Lightning MAF, DiabloSport MAFIA. Was just dyno tuned and came back at about 289 RWHP. Even without any PI goodies, I'd expect to be well into 300s with this setup...does 289 seem right?
On the topic of PI, I'm definitely a little cash strapped after this last trip to the shop (which included a $500+ rebuild of the P1SC), if I went the half PI swap (as outlined here: http://www.sn95mustangs.com/index.ph...bout-NPI-vs-PI), ie just the intake and cams, shouldn't I expect more than the 35ish they mention, on account of my FI?

I honestly dont think its that off, I mean with all non pi crap on the car I would expect it to be about 300rwhp...so youre ten off? What kind of dyno? What was your A/F and timing? What transmission are you running? DO NOT PUT PI CAMS IN A SETUP LIKE THAT. A PI manifold and heads would help...back when I was on a stock motor I had a
V2, stock non pi heads, a stock pi manifold...swapped my non pi cams to stock pi's and lost power because they are the opposite of what you want with boost. You want more duration...PI's have more lift and less duration than a non pi grind

I agree. The non-PI set up is hurting you. Around 300rwhp sounds about right, but remember that every dyno is different so sweating over 10rwhp on a dyno sheet is unjustified.
Save some money and do the PI swap when you can with some blower cams. You won't regret it.

People have told me that I can expect astronomical gains from a PI conversion on account of the Procharger...how much could I expect?
As of right now, (it's going to be a while) I'm planning on Modular Head Shop Romeo heads (stock), these cams (with the springs, retainers, and gears): http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...s-xe270ah.html, and of course the stock PI intake. I know people hate giving estimates, I'm certainly not holding anyone to it, but I imagine someone else has done it.
