Default Cowl hood is painted and on the car...

My new cowl hood is finally painted and on the car. I think it turned out great. Gives the car a whole new look. Trufiber 3" cowl hood.

Enjoy!

Looks great! Do you need hoodpins for the Trufiber hoods? I've been trying to find a cowl hood I can use without the pins. Just never been a fan of the look of hoodpins.

Very nice! Did it take much work to make it fit or did it fit up pretty easy? Looks great.

They always say to use pins on the aftermarket hoods, but this one is very secure. My body guy tried pulling on it when it was closed and he pulled the whole front of the car up so it is not going anywhere. My stock hood would dance on the freeway, but this one does not move.

It was pretty much a direct fit. My body guy is a bit **** so he spent a lot of time getting the gaps dead on. Had I put it on it would have been the 4 nuts on the hinges and I would have called it a day.

It is a quality hood. Drives fine and I have already gotten used to the cowl. No more distracting then the hood scoop on the stocker.
