Put the down payment on my MMR stroker mod 1000 today!
I just put the down payment with a little extra cash on my mmr stroker mod 1000se motor today. I should actually be able to push my setup to its full potential when I get this baby dropped in. My tuner said my stock motor was "built on a wednesday"...it made 447 on its second pull (last march) and is still running strong today with almost no blow by. I wouldn't let him push it any further so I've been stuck with a safe pig rich low timing tune. I hit high 10's in my AFR on my wideband as of right now. I'd like to see it in the high 11-low 12 range with a little more timing thrown into the tune. I still have fuel and maf left.....come spring....those dyno numbers are changing!

Depends on how much funding I have left really. I would like to get a set of nice heads with blower cams but I may end up just getting the stock heads ported with a set of blower cams. I have heard that the comp cams 270's like the boost off the shelf. I had a brand new set of 270's but sold them when I bought my blower because I didn't want to grenade my stock short block.

yeah I would just get your stock PI's worked if you dont want to shell out the money for Trickflows. I had MMR port my PI's to their stage 3 specs. Also, with a build like that if you really want to make some power get custom grind blower cams, not off the shelf. Get a set ground to your specific application. Look into Bullet racing, MHS, CMS, etc

They had a killer end of year sale on the mmr 1000 for 2599.00!! I couldn't pass that up. Thats basically the same price of their mmr 600 block. Yeah my car still seems to amaze me. I put her together in a small garage with basic tools. I have heard stories of stock blocks making just a little over 400 and blowing up after a few days. I deleted my pprv valve and wired in a GT40 pump and drilled the crap out of my basket so I get quite a bit of fuel out of that little pump. I think at the end of the day it just matters how you take care of them/drive them.
How do you like that cowl with the cobra bumper? I have the same look...lol

Ive heard pretty good things about CMS. I want a pretty streetable cam so I'll probably shop around for a good stage 2 blower cam. This car was my daily driver until last month. I like to drive it in the warm months as much as possible...can't get enough.

Love it bro... I'm gonna install the LT's Feb 1st and hope to hit 400+! I'm digging your ride bro! Also I just noticed that you have the Vortech Logo on your intercooler. I was thinking about doing the same thing! Looks hot my man!

Thanks man! I'm think going to go with LT's when I drop the new block in....it was too big of a nightmare to just squeeze the tuned length shorties in there. I had to lift the motor out a little bit.
