'Tis a beautiful ride, but I too am a bit confused...

The openings in the rear of my side-skirts, don't protrude out that far:


Should be an "S281" badge here and on the rear deck where yours says "GT":


Do you have the little authentic plate under the hood above the steering shaft? Should also be a matching number to car in front of the shifter. Either way, it is a nice looking ride, but appears it might only be a kit installed

Yes ,true saleen..previous owner said it received hail damage to the back side of car when he left it hanging halfway out of garage...??...replaced it with this gt trunk lid because it was free..I have every intention of fixing it to original saleen...as far as the side skirt ,it is a original saleen part..can get u part # if u like..I actually like this style I have better than Wat u see on most..I put the cobra wheels on because I like them better...;-)...great looking car jazzer.....

Gotcha..ya,a buddy of mine calls my car a coleen,since I put the cobra wheels on it....I tell him its my car not Steve saleens anymore...Haha.
