I was getting ready to trade my 2001 Blazer Xtreme and I was looking for a sports car. I was looking at the GTO at the time though and I had a couple of low mile 05s in sight but this was the end of 2005 so they were still kind of expensive back then so the salesman took me over to the Mustangs and the Black Centennial edition with like 7000 miles caught my attention. It was $17,998 compared to the mid to high 20s of the GTO's that I was looking at + the trunk was bigger. Took it for a test drive and got it that night but I never test drove the GTO. Years later my current wife picked up an 06 GTO though after I took her for a test drive in one she fell in love with it.
