Default New member new car (to me)

Hey guys, friday I'm going to buy an 02 Mustang GT vert. Its the 5 speed with a short throw shifter, eibach suspension, FR500 wheels, SLP exhaust, and a K&N filter. He wants 8500 but im trying for 8000. Is that a decent deal? looked up the KBB value and it seems right, car is immaculate inside and out. Leather interior, mach 1000 audio, is there anything I should look for? Drove it and ran great. Plan on doing a 70mm throttle body, CAI, Plenum, SCT programmer with bama tunes, and a Mach 1 lip. Any recommendations for anything?

Heres a pic

Thought I added that in there...65k on the clock exactly.

8500 a decent deal?

Has it been garaged the whole time? I would double check to see if it leaks at all.

Not sure about its whole life, but the current owner has had it in a garage the whole year he has owned it. Ran a carfax on it last night and everything checks out great, last maintenance check was a couple years ago at 33k miles. Planning on changing out all the fluids to be on the safe side. I'll double check for leaks, are these known to leak?

I bought a 2003 mustang GT with 65,200 miles on it. The guy had gears, and cat back exhaust done to it before I bought it. The engine ran strong, the transmission shifted fine, and the AC was cold. I changed out all the fluids over the past year of owning it, and the spark plugs. Runs even better now.

The guy was wanting 9k for his but ended up taking 8,000 cash in hand. I couldn't be happier with the price and car.

Just check for any oil under the hood or on the ground. Let it run for a bit and check for ticking, knocking, and further fluid leaks.

Seems like a decent price, but IMO for the money u can get a more modded car, of course if thats what your looking for.

Long as the tops been taken care of it should not leak but like anything it will at some point. Seems like a pretty good price for a care that's been well taken care of. I would almost be tempted to see if he would take 7,500.

I'll try for 8, he seemed hesitant for 8500 after originally wanting 9. He doesn't even really want to sell it, but he wants a new 5.0 so using the money to put towards a new one.

Thats a high price for an 11 year old car that has been redesigned 2+ times and has ancient technology.
Show up with 5200 cash IMHO
