What color should I paint my car
#12
I spray painted a slammed S-10 and it turned out Ok. although it was just an S-10 and nothing I'd ever drive. The guy was on deployment and asked me to do it while he was gone.
OP, don't spray paint your car. Sell it and buy an F-body.

I say if he really hates the way his car looks now and he wants to rattle can it, go for it! But since it's going to be obvious that it was a homemade paint job, get creative. Select a design or theme and make an art project out of it like the Sharpie cars. Tape out some designs and use all metallic colors or just go with crayola basic colors like the old Partridge family tour bus. You could even let a high school or community college art or graphic design or auto repair class go crazy on it.
The OP did post his request for opinions in the general section and if nothing else, it provided entertainment and an opportunity for members to practice photoshop and snark.

No need to be rude or mean to the guy. If he want to rattle can it then I say go for it. It's his car. It will make it harder to get ready for a regular paint job though.
I would go matte red. It will look a little Better then the other colors i think. Could even go with matte black stripes and give it a old school hot rod look. At least with some good coats of matte it could work until you get the money to paint it. Don't let people get you down. It's your car and you are just trying to get some insight. Good luck brother and post some pictures when you get it done.

Yep i drove my flat black for a year untill it was ready for paint, was a better option for a season than 6 different colors, it didnt get weathered case the car is garage kept and maybe say 1k miles between occaisonal cruise and 11 second strip passes.
