Default Mach 1 Grill Delete (2-pc vs. 3-pc)

For anybody out there who bought the Mach 1 grill delete, which kit did you end up going with? The 2-pc or the 3-pc? Is the 3-pc worth the extra $25 or so or will the 2-pc work just fine? From what I can tell, the 3rd piece is something called the header trim panel and it looks like it's what the pony is mounted to. But, isn't that part redundant because the stock pony has to mount to something?

I did a search on the forum and didn't find any info.

Hoping to order online in the next hour. Thanks for any input.

The two piece kit is half ***, spend the little extra to do it right.

I bought mine here:

http://www.gefracing.com/Merchant2/m...ory_Code=MACH1

It cost me $63 and it included everything 3 pieces and even the Ford security screws.

I got the 3 piece and there is a little difference in the header piece that the pony mounts too, but you can make your stock one work but it may not look as good.

It really doesn't matter. Both look fine to me.
