Default 5 speed owners

any of you 5 speeders think about or actually want an auto instead? with so many threads on the auto it made me curious of what all you manual drivers are thinking when it comes to the tranny
option.from the looks of things though, auto owners seem very happy with their purchase.

No way, I will never buy another auto tranny as long as I can help it!

My two trucks are also manuals.

P.S. - The auto is a 5 speed too.
5 speed automatic.

I love my 5 speed!

Shifting my stang adds to the joy I get from my car. Nothing beats cruising on hot summer nights with the top town. I don't think you are truely connecting with the car unless have one foot on the clutch and one hand on the shifter. Enganging all the senses. Eyes on the road, wind in my hair, radio playing nickelback for extra attitude. Total package.Good times!

No way man. I've never regretted buying my manual. When I went to the dealership to look at buying my car I drove both an auto and a manual. Now don't get me wrong the auto was fun to drive and was a nice car, but at the same time I couldn't compare it to my manual. Once I got in my car to test drive it. It just feels right to get in the car with a manual and shifting just adds to the fun of driving the car.

No way, personally I'd never get any "sporty" car with an auto.
