The Shaftmasters is a nice piece. My shop even commented on it saying it was well-made. I have no vibration on the highway with it. For $425 shipped compared to $650 - $800 for the other shafts I've seen, I have to give it a thumbs up.
where did you get it for 425 shipped? ?..i just went to their website and they want 499...
and hows that clearance with the 4'' ? ?

I just called them directly. They had an auction up on eBay for one with no reserve and a starting bid of $425. It had no "Buy It Now" however and there was a few days left. I just assumed if they were willing to let it go for that, that I could probably buy one from them directly. I was right.
I called and talked to David and just asked what he'd be willing to sell me one outright for. He put me on hold for a minute, then came back and just said he could match the auction, $425 shipped. He was real friendly and I received the shaft 3 days later. Good vendor, good quality, good piece.
I got the pinion flange version instead of the adapter plate since I was doing gears at the same time. They are the same price...
No clearance issues with the 4", but I am also not lowered. I believe they do sell a 3.5" shaft, but I have no idea how much it is.

couldnt the clearance issues be fixed by an adj UCA?
You can only lower the pinion angle so much. Most driveline websites recommend no more than 3 degrees operating angle of the ujoints. My drive shaft is 1 degree down front to back. My pinion is 1.5 degrees down back to front. The operating angle of the rear ujoint on my car is 2.5 degrees. I have the Denny's 3.5 inch shaft and have never had it rub, even with my pinion angle at 1.5 degrees up. Lowering the pinion does lower the drive shaft and thereby lowering the angle of the drive shaft. So your operating angles start to get over 3 degrees really fast.

I have a 4" Powerhouse 1-pce Aluminum DriveShaft and am lowered
with Eibach Pro's. Needed an adjustable Upper control arm to adjust
my Pinion angle. Currently 1.5 degrees down and no issues
whats the difference between 3.5'' and 4'' other than the obvious .5''? ?
I know this is kind of an old thread, but I have been trying to do some research on driveshafts...anyhow, the answer to the question is strength. The 4" will handle a higher torque load than the 3.5".
