If i have an 91 bama race tune, will this procedure offset my tune or will it make it even more aggressive and touchy because i want for the throttle to be even more touchy.

Try it, it won't hurt anything, I run Bama tunes, do this
at least once a month, seems to help.

Performing the throttle cal will not affect your tune.

I can never get this method to work. I have to reload the tune.

Over time, my automatic develops a really bad lag. Its so bad, my right foot will be pressed up against the fire wall for at least 2 seconds before the tranny will kick down and go. I recently raced a coworker of mine that has an 04 Mach 1 from a slow rolling start. He jumped three car lengths ahead of me before mine reacted. Sucks.

Interesting... I will have to try the throttle calibration. Thanks for the post!

Mine is an automatic too, unless you drive it hard most of the time the
"adaptive learning" for the auto will create a big lag, disconnecting battery or
reloading tune is the quickest way to cure it, if you start driving aggressively
it will get alittle better on its on but takes time.
The throttle cal is in a differant part of the PCM programing.
