Throttle Response

Throttle Response
08 GT. 80,000 miles. Literally all highway miles. Original plugs. The throttle response is not what it use to be. Almost like a turbo lag. Runs great, other than that. All stock except for cai and Diablo tune 93 octane/K&N CAI

Try disconnecting battery for 30 min, resets computer
adaptive learning. Also there is throttle cal, turn on key,
don't start, let chimes and dash to settle down. then
slowly push gas peddle all the way to floor then let up,
5 count each way, you will hear TB motor run, turn key
off, then okay to start.
I do this about once a month, seems to help.
Also after batt disconnect you have to let it relearn
idle, as per owners manual.

Plus some spark plugs.
If it's an automatic I would have it serviced. I know Ford and other companies claim 100k mile longevity for their parts. Yes they will last that long, in reality, they don't perform really good for that long. Transmission fluid gets burnt, filled with moisture, leaks or just disappears somewhere, gear oil goes bad, spark plugs wear and wear until they don't put the same fire out anymore. None of these are neccessarily the cause, but a place to look at.
It could also be a plugged catalitic convertor.
Could be the tune. Tried reflashing it?
All sorts of things it could be. I would start with the easy things first.
