Default Now my car won't start. Lovely.

Here is a related post: https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...hat-to-do.html

I installed my Vortech V-1 last night (a replacement for my V-2 that failed).. After I installed it, I drove it around for 15 minutes or so. It started up fine, and ran great. Boosted up to 7-9lbs just like my V-2 did. I turned it off and back on a couple times, started without any problems. However, just as soon as I got home I got a check engine light for P2196 and P2198. I reset the codes thinking it was just a fluke, parked the car in the garage and called it a night.

I got home from work and went to drive the car around, and the car just wouldn't start at all. It cranks and cranks and cranks, but does nothing. If I hold the throttle to the floor while it's cranking, it seems to want to start (it has a real rough idle for about a second then just dies).

I'm not sure what to do or where to go, and to be honest, I'm about to rip my hair out. I have no more money after having to get a replacement supercharger, and now it won't even run after it ran so great last night. I've checked everything.. All my connections, all my vacuum lines, and can't find anything wrong. Everything looks just fine.. So I don't know what to do. :/ The only thing I can think of is maybe the tune isn't right.. I have a Brenspeed tune on the car for my V-2, but I think it should be alright since it ran just fine last night and it's boosting the psi it was before.

Any suggestions?? I'm really lost here..

P2196- O2 sensor signal stuck rich
P2198- O2 sensor signal stuck rich

Do you have a wideband gauge set up for datalogging?

No I don't. But, I am smelling fuel in the exhaust from trying to start it. So maybe it is rich :/

You shouldn't have to hold the pedal down while cranking to get it to start. Also, the tune shouldn't be off at all unless you are in boost if you didn't change anything else other than the blower. If you went into boost and the tune was too rich you may have fouled out the plugs. Do you have another set of plugs laying around? If so maybe try swapping them out and try to crank it.

Ok, I returned my car back to it's stock tune. (my car use to run on the stock tune without any problems..)
Started the car, and it reved up to about 2000 rpm for around 5-10 seconds, then died. It came up with a CEL and said "Failsafe Engine Mode".
I ran for DTCs and it came up with P0600, P1000, P2105, U03000.
Cleared the DTCs and tried to start the car.. wouldn't start, and DTCs came back.

Reloaded my Brenspeed tune and it went back how it was when I first posted this thread.

That makes sense. I don't have another set laying around.. and don't have the money for new ones right now. I just installed these around 5,000 miles ago though

P0600 Serial Communication Link
P1000 ?
P2105 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Engine Shutdown
UO3000 ?

Did you have to unplug any connectors to swap the blower? Did the wrench light come on at any time on the dash?

The only thing I unplugged was the mass air flow sensor.. which is plugged back in. There is a sensor on the side of the block that is right in the middle of the bracket that supports the supercharger (I'm not sure what it is), but I didn't unplug it or mess with it.

I went and pulled the fuel pump fuse and tried starting it. It cranked for a little bit longer than normal, then started up. It was pretty rough, then died after about 5 seconds. I tried to start it again, wouldn't run. Put the fuel pump fuse in, started it, and it ran (roughly) for about 5 seconds and died again.
